CULTURE（文化）は、ラテン語の CULTIVATE（耕す・開拓する）が語源です。

「文化は心を耕す」ことから CULTURE という言葉が生まれました。

VATES とは CULTIVATE から派生する

ACTIVATE / INNOVATE / MOTIVATE / PRIVATE を束ねた造語であり

日本から世界へむけて、声高に「吠告（べいつ）」するアートプロジェクトです。
